Tara’s management has proven its ability to recognize value early, gain access and acquire projects on terms that give Tara the ability to assess various options to advance each project. The management team is positioned to leverage its relationships and experience to focus on continuing to build a portfolio production and exploration projects - precious metals within Tara Gold Resources Corp. and non-precious metals and mineral under Tara Minerals Corp.

Mr. Francis R. Biscan Jr. - President, CEO and Director
For the last eight years, Mr. Biscan has worked with various public companies in the areas of business consulting, structuring, mergers and acquisitions and finance. He is currently the President and CEO of Tara Gold Resources Corp. He has also served as a Director for Latitude Minerals, a public mining company, and in numerous outside advisory roles. He has also served on the Board of Timothy Christian Schools.
Mr. Clifford A. Brown, CPA – CFO and Director
Mr. Brown graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1980 with a B.S. in Accountancy and passed the Illinois Certified Public Accounts' exam in 1981. He worked as an auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co. in Chicago until 1983 when he left public accounting and became the Controller for two successive private businesses. In 1989, Mr. Brown started his own accounting software sales and consulting company, Clifford A. Brown and Co., a Certified Microsoft Partner, in which he continues as President. Mr. Brown has served as the Treasurer and Board Member of Restoration Ministries, Inc. for the past 10 years, where he has played a role in increasing revenues from $150,000 in 1993 to $1,380,000 in 2003. Mr. Brown also serves as the Winfield Township Clerk and the Vice-Chairman of his local political party.
Ramiro Trevizo Ledezma - Director
Since 2005, Ramiro Trevizo has been the President and Sole Administrator of Corporacion Amermin, Tara Gold's 100% owned Mexican subsidiary. From 2003 to 2005, he was the President and Sole Administrator for Grupo Constructor del Desierto, S.A. de C.V., an engineering company. He was responsible for all state and national level bid proposals and project supervision. From 2002 to 2004, Ramiro was the Regional Manager for D&B Engineering, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ. Prior to this, he was a Project Manager with OSP Consultants in California. Ramiro is fluent in English and Spanish.
John Brownlie - Director
John Brownlie is currently a Director and Chief Operating Officer of Capital Gold Corporation. From 2000 to 2006, Mr. Brownlie was a consultant providing mining- and mineral-related services to various companies including SRK, Oxus Mining plc and Cemco Inc. From 1995 to 2000, he was the General Manager for the Zarafshan-Newmont Joint Venture in Uzbekistan, a one-million tonne per month heap leach plant which produced over 400,000 ounces of gold per year. From 1988 to 1995, Mr. Brownlie served as the Chief Engineer and General Manager for Monarch Resources in Venezuela, at both the El Callao Revemin Mill and La Camorra gold projects. Before that, he was associated with numerous mineral projects across Africa.
Jeffrey W. Pritchard - Director
Jeff Pritchard is currently the Vice President of Investor Relations, Secretary and Director of
Capital Gold Corporation. He has been in the marketing/public relations field since receiving a Bachelor's degree from the
State University of New York. Jeff previously served as the Director of Marketing for the New Jersey Devils, and as the Director of Sales for the New York Islanders. He also was an Executive Vice President with
Long Island-based Performance Network, a marketing and publishing concern.
John Lehmann - Consulting Geologist
John Lehmann has over 27 years of experience in mineral exploration, evaluation and development for both major and junior mining companies throughout the Americas. Mr. Lehmann’s experience includes working for Minera Andes Inc., Cyprus-Amax, Echo Bay, Meridian Minerals, and Conoco Minerals. Mr. Lehmann has a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Washington State University (1982) and is fluent in Spanish. He is a Licensed Professional Geologist from the State of Washington and a Certified Environmental Geologist in the State of California and a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum. Mr. Lehmann recently completed an NI 43-101 compliant report on Tara Gold’s projects in Mexico.
